LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Interpret the poetry and prose texts they read about the 15th century within the framework of classical Turkish poetry tradition. 2) Distinguish the similarities and differences of the 15th century classical Turkish literature style with the previous periods. 3) Analyze the formation steps of the classical style. 4) Recognize the literary personalities of the prominent poets of the period.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course introduces the literary history of the 15th century and examines the major poetic figures as well as the representative texts from this period.
