COURSE DEFINITION
In this course, the place and definition of divan literature in the historical course of Turkish literature will be given; naming, limits and sources will be emphasized. The basic divan literature terminology will be discussed by
examining the types and forms of divan literature, their characteristics and the literary arts used. Basic studies in the field will be evaluated and interpreted.
