COURSE DEFINITION
In this course the phonology of Turkish will be examined. After analyzing sounds, phonemes, phoneme and letter distinctions, and various features of vowels and consonants; the phonetic changes of Turkish will be examined a detailed. In this course the suprasegmental system and syllable structure of Turkish will also be analyzed. Practices will be done about the subjects to be studied. The aim of this course is to make the students to comprehend phonologic features and sound changes of Turkish.
