At the end of this course, the students; 1) find similarities between myths belonging to different cultures, 2) compare myths in terms of their characteristics by employing various critical approaches, 3) deduct similarities and differences between the cultures of different societies.

COURSE DEFINITION
This course aims to introduce myths of different societies living in the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Africa through a selection of thematically grouped texts and to analyze these myths by employing a theoretical framework.
