LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will be able to explain the concepts of intellectual property and its place in Private International Law 2) Define the outline of concepts of intellectual property in Comparative Law and EU Law 3) Explain issues relating to conflict of laws on some intellectual and industrial property agreements such as pantent license, know-how as well as franchise. 4) Will be able to explain the objective and subjective choice of law rules relating to those agreements 5) Will be able to define the concept ?joint venture? and "copyright agreement". 6) Will be able to distinguish the differences between Civil and Common Law. 7) Will be able to define opinions on doctrine relating to law applicable to intellectual property law 8) Will be able to determine intellectual jurisdiction of Turkish Courts on intellectual property rights.
