At the end of this course, the students; 1) learn to examine Turkey's position in new international politics which arised from developments after the World Wars, Cold War, democracy and dictatorship, economic depression and new model of global economy, struggle between colonialism and anticolonialism, collapse of Communism and rise of Neo-liberalism, globalisation and post-Westphalia order and new security problems of 21st Century, 2) learn to analyze the subjects and decisions (crises, agreements, etc.) in the agenda of Turkish foreign policy after 2001. 3) determine continuing and changing principles of Turkish foreign policy in 2000s. 4) explain continuing and changing factors of Turkish foreign policy in relation to changing international and regional conditions. 5) learn to explain and discuss current political issues in Turkey's foreign policy in view of strategical dimensions. 6) analyze Turkey's regional policies with reference to its relations with case countries.

COURSE DEFINITION
It is a complementary of POLI 405 Turkish Foreign Policy course. In this course, it is aimed that students examine the developments in the agenda of Turkish foreign policy after 2000s and learn about the basic principles of current foreign policy practice.
