Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Graduates can find job opportunities in varying fields from public and private institutions to international organizations, from media to think tanks, from human resources management departments of private sector enterprises to consulting companies.

Our graduates work in various sectors stated above, particularly in prestigious public institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Directory for EU Affairs and European Union or international relations departments of nearly all other ministries.

Due to the formation they receive, our graduates are preferred in local or national television channels or print media. When the close relationship between the media and politics in today's world and especially in Turkey is taken into consideration, it is obvious that the graduates of the department of political science and international relations are preferred in the media.

Both public and private sector needs people who can think locally and globally at the same time, who can see things from many perspectives, who can think fast and work in a solution-oriented way and who has social sciences formation. The main objective of the department of Political Science and International Relations is to provide students with these qualities through its undergraduate programme and education methods.
