At the end of this course, the students; 1) have knowledge about the important developments in political history, be able to comment on them and develop a comparative perspective with regard to different periods in history. 2) analyse current developments from a historical perspective. 3) be able to examine political history from a theoretical perspective. 4) have knowledge about internal and external politics in political history.
