1) develop sub-skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing.
2) learn the meaning and use of language associated with different text types, using appropriate strategies to work out meaning.
3) write an academic paragraph by following the academic text writing rules.

COURSE DEFINITIONUpon successful completion of this course students will become confident in assimilating appropriate style for their purpose and audience in their lives. They will appreciate consistency, the right level of formality, critical thinking, expressing ideas precisely, being concise, and understand and communicate in academic disciplines. The focus is on knowledge that they will enable students to cover the practices of English language: reading, writing, listening and speaking in interactive online class atmosphere. Students will improve the ability to critically think about International Relations while playing an absolute active role in this course. The workshop format will encourage the students to overcome the language barrier and build their knowledge on International Relations and articulate their knowledge and ideas confidently.
