LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Analyze the relationship of economics and society in details. 2) Meet the reasons that lie behind the economic acts. 3) Meet the basic concepts of sociology of economics. 4) Discuss the relationship between technology and economic growth from a sociological perspective. 5) Conduct scientific research using qualitative and quantitative methods in the field of economic sociology.

COURSE DEFINITION | The course focuses on the development and difference of classical and new economic sociology. On the other hand, the reflections of the basic duality of sociology is action-structure on economic aspects of different societies will be elaborated. |
