At the end of this course, the students; 1) Develep an understanding about the developments that lead to the emergence of supply chain thinking. 2) Develop an understanding of the strategic importance of supply chains. 3) Develop an understanding of the key strategic drivers of supply chain performance. 4) Gain insight into the methodologies used for analysing supply chains. 5) Recognize the importance of supply chain thinking on business performance. 6) Demonstrate the ability to analyze the problems related to supply chain design, planning and coordination. 7) Recognize the importance of supply chain thinking on business performance. 8) Realize the importance of information technology on supply chain performance.
