At the end of this course, the students; 1) Solve problems by interpreting the provisions regarding the law of commercial enterprise. 2) Use general principles and concepts and have apply them to concrete events. 3) Have the information to comprehend, predict and resolve the problems arising in business relationships. 4) Understand and evaluate the concept of commercial enterprise and tarnsactions arising in connection with it. 5) Use the theoretical knowledge in pracitce regarding commercial business and its legal consequences, commercial statements, commercial lawsuit and the definitons of commercial enterprise and merchant.

COURSE DEFINITION
The concept of commercial enterprise, the topics of merchant and commercial business, the features of proprietorships and corporations, and information about the foundation, running, audit and termination of proprietorhips and corporations are taught in the context of new Turkish commercial code.

Commercial business, Consequences of regarding business as commercial, features of interest in commercial business

Commercial statements, order of the statements.
4th Week
Commercial lawsuit, absolute commercial lawsuit, relative commercial lawsuit, methods of authority, proof and judgement
5th Week
Concept, types and features of commercial enterprises, concept of assets
6th Week
Legal actions concerning commercial enterprises, takeover and pledge of a commercial enterprise
7th Week
Definition of merchant and tradesmen, acquisition and termination of the title of tradesman, terms and consequences regarding the title of tradesman

Midterm

Trade register, registry operations, terms of registration and listing in trade register, trade name, company name, Definiton, protection, types and features of a trademark and legal claims in the case of its breach

Unfair competition, cases regarded as unfair competition, criminal and legal cases in the case of unfair competition

Commercial books, context of the liability of bookkeeping, consequences of keeping none and against the law and proof.
