LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) are provided with a comprehensive and advanced understanding of the origins, dynamics, and consequences of innovation from an economic perspective. 2) can understand the design of incentive mechanisms such as prizes and intellectual property, patent values and the return on R&D investment, intellectual property issues arising from direct and indirect network externalities.
