At the end of this course, the students; 1) will learn the problems that requires clinical intervention. 2) will learn individual and group approaches in meeting the needs of aged individuals 3) will learn the clinical social work intervention techniques in working with aged individuals.

COURSE DEFINITION
In this course the concept of ageing, theories for ageing, the effects of ageing to individuals, families and society, the content of geriatry as a science, team work, clinical social work with geriatric clients and their families are included.
