Specific Admission Requirements
The student admission requirements for the Fashion Design Thesis/Non-Thesis Master's Program are listed below:
1. 4-year faculty graduates of related fields can apply to the master's program. In case the students come from different disciplines, the Scientific Preparatory Program will be applied in order to eliminate the deficiencies in Art and Design.
2. At the time of admission to the Fashion Design Master's Program, the ALES score must be at least 55 from the Equal Weight Score Type.
3. Candidates must know a certain level of foreign language in order to be admitted to the Fashion Design Master's program with thesis. If it is documented that they have the required level of foreign language knowledge from any of the exams listed below, candidates will be directly interviewed. There is no foreign language requirement in the non-thesis master's program.
4. Provided that English is one of the languages accepted by the Interuniversity Board for associate professorship, those who submit a document as a result of the foreign language exams conducted by OSYM can also apply to the master's program.

Candidates who do not have any of the documents related to the exams mentioned above must pass the English exam to be held by Başkent University English Preparatory Department. Successful in the English exam by getting at least 55 points. Candidates whose English level is not found sufficient in their master's programs can attend the intensive language education program at our University's English Preparatory Department.
Since the language of instruction of the department is Turkish, a Certificate of Proficiency (TÖMER) will be requested from foreign candidates who will apply to the Master's program.
