Specific Admission Requirements
In order to apply to graduate programs, one of at least 55 ALES numerical or equal weight scores must be obtained. Candidates are required to know a certain level of foreign language in order to be accepted to graduate programs. Candidates are directly interviewed if it is documented that they have the desired level of foreign language knowledge from any of the exams determined by the university. Candidates who do not have any of the documents related to the mentioned exams must pass the English exam to be held by Başkent University English Preparatory Department for departments that require English as a foreign language in their master's degree. It is achieved by getting at least 55 points in the English exam. In addition to the students who meet the entrance requirements of the Institute to graduate programs, students with "special student" status are also accepted. "Special students" are students who are not candidates for diploma, who only want to follow some courses in the relevant program. ALES is not required for special students. The Graduate School Administrative Board decides on the acceptance of the candidate as a special student. |
