Specific Admission Requirements
The students who have a bachelor and a master degree in Nursing, (the students who have a bachelor and a master degree from a foreign country need to have an accreditation document given by Turkish Higher Education Board(YÖK) will be accepted to the doctorate program in Nursing. The admission process, duration of the study and completing the program will be appropriately performed according to the Başkent University Graduate Studies and Examination Regulations/Instructions.
The following requirements are applied to applicants wishing to enroll in a doctor's program:
a) Applicants should hold a master's diploma accepted by the Institute Board
b) Applicants must hold the minimum ALES score determined by the Institute Board not being less than 55 in the score type required for the program applied. Exam scores from international exams recognized by the Turkish Higher Education Board (YÖK) such as GRE or GMAT are also accepted on the condition that the scores received are not less than the minimum standard score determined by the Higher Education Board. The Senate, however, may raise the accepted minimum standard score if they wish to do so.
c) The candidates, who have a score of 55 out of 100 in the YDS exam or have a minimum score determined by the Institute, in the universally valid language exams such as ÜDS, KPDS, TOEFL (CBT/IBT),or other similar exams will be exempt from the proficiency exam of that language.
