General Information
Baskent University Department of Oral and Maxillofacail Surgery was established in 2001. It is located at Faculty of Dentistry close to the Baskent University, Faculty of Medicine, in Bahçelievler. Currently, 2 Professor, 1 Associate Professor, 3 Assistant Professor, 3 Fellow and 2 Research Assistants are working at the department as full-time. The decisions related with the department are made by the Department Committee which is composed of all faculty members of the Department. The Department is governed by the Chairman and a deputy chairman.
Along with postdoctoral programme, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department plays role in the undergraduate programme of Faculty of Dentistry since 2006-207 academic year. Although education is primarily in Turkish, dental literature is being discussed in English.
