General Information
Foreign Trade Program within the body of Başkent University Kahramankazan Vocational School offers two-year (associate degree) education after high school education. Students can choose our university with the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) score of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) conducted by the Republic of Turkey Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and can be placed in our promising "Foreign Trade" program. Our Foreign Trade program has a quota of 20 students in the 2021/2022 academic year. 20 person quota; 8 of them with full scholarship (100%) and 12 of them with 50% discount (50% scholarship). The scholarships given during the education period are not cut. Students take and successfully pass each compulsory course; At the same time, in order to graduate, they must maintain a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. In addition, there is a summer internship obligation covering 20 working days for graduation. In addition, our program provides education and training according to the "Workplace Application Training Model", which is thematically themed as "3+1", and with this application, the infrastructure for easier entry to business and professional life after graduation is created. In our Foreign Trade program, there is the opportunity to do a double major and ERASMUS, the language of education is Turkish, but there are English lessons between 4-6 hours per week. After graduation, with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by the Turkish Republic Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), it is possible and alternative to transfer to undergraduate departments. In this process, we help our students with career guidance and support. We always update and renew our program according to the changing terms and conditions of the day, with interviews & seminars and technical trips with the relevant people from the sector.
