The Oral and Dental Health Program, affiliated with the Vocational School of Health Services at Başkent University, commenced its associate degree education in the 2017?2018 academic year. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish.
Oral and dental health technicians are qualified healthcare professionals who assist dentists in all clinical procedures, particularly in dental outpatient clinics. These technicians are responsible for preparing the clinical environment, admitting patients, and supporting both the dentist and the patient throughout the treatment process. The primary objective of the program is to educate competent, contemporary, and reputable associate professionals who are equipped with internationally recognized knowledge in the field of dental health and are capable of meeting the workforce demands of both public and private healthcare sectors. The program aims to train individuals who can adapt to evolving societal needs and who possess the necessary knowledge and skills to contribute effectively within their professional domains.
