General Information
In Health Information Systems program which is opened in 2017 under Vocational School of Technical Sciences, technical education is given at pre-license degree. Students are selected among graduates of high schools regarding the scores achieved in Fundamental Proficiency Test(TYT) which is held by Assessment Selection and Placement Center(OSYM). The program has quota for 15 students each year. 2 of the students is given full scholarship and13 of the students are given 50% scholarship. The curriculum includes courses on health informatics, medical information standards, clinical database systems, software developing, analysis, maintance and design . Furthermore, students are required to participate in a 30 days of internship in appropriate organizations. 6 full time teaching staff is teaching in our vocational school. Additional teaching staff from Engineering faculty also gives lectures in our program.
