LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Describe the concept of management and leadership. 2) Identify the management and organization theories. 3) Discuss critically the management concept and theories critically. 4) Practice the management skills in patient care management. 5) Demonstrate the managerial skills in organization management. 6) Critical think on health policies and develop her/his awareness on nursing profession.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course includes the management of the patient care and nursing services, organizational/management theories and management functions, management process and managerial functions, basic managerial skills, human management subjects like recruiting and performance assessment, legal and ethical issues in managerial processes are examined both theoretic and practical.
