At the end of this course, the students; 1) Identify the biomedical engineering problems with theoretical knowledge and have ability to formulate and solve, 2) Having a knowledge of other professional issues with current analysis and design applications, 3) Have the ability to use the techniques and modern engineering equipment under realistic conditions for biomedical engineering applications, 4) Compatible for Individual and/or team work, study effectively, to receive instructions and to provide project management.
BME 300 summer course provides to learn medical devices and system functions and operating principles, like electrophysiology, clinical laboratory, medical imaging units that found in hospitals, the use of these devices, to solve the problems that may arise during use, to apply these devices maintenance and repair work, also be informed about the organization and operation of the hospital and medical equipment maintenance and repair centers and in this way provide them with observations and analysis about the tasks they do as a biomedical engineer.
COURSE CONTENTS
Students actively work for a period of 20 workdays at the hospital or relevant institutions and organizations in order to learn about working life in the business world.
