COURSE DEFINITION
After complating this course, the students will (be able to), Learn basketball game rules (rules, court sizes, tecnical knowledge about basketball, etc.), tactical knowledge and basic trainer knowledge.

1st Week
Meeting and introductions of course and detemining course programe and where the course take place.
2nd Week
Determining the basketball knowledge level of studens. Basketball rules, basketball court, and basic areas (high post-low post etc.) in basketball court.
3rd Week
Explanations of basic player positions in basketball.
4th Week
Basic individual offensive tecnics in basketball; thriple threat position, ballhandling, stops, pivot move, dribbling and ofensive fakes.
5th Week
Lay-up work-outs.Work-outs to improve shooting tecnic.
6th Week
Midterm
7th Week
Passing work-outs, passing varieties in basketball and drills to improve passing.
8th Week
Developing individual deffensive tecnics and drills to improve defensive tecnics.
9th Week
Rebounding; description of offensive and defensive rebound, Rebounding drills and box-out tecnics.
10th Week
Work-outs for developing ofensive and defensive fundamentals of big players (4 and 5 players)
11th Week
Work-outs for developing offensive and defensive fundamentals of perimeter players (1, 2 and 3 players)
12th Week
Screening (pick) tecnics, variety of screening, defensive tecnics for screening and drills to improve screening.

Practice planning in basketball.
