LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn basic concepts and definitions of recreation. 2) Understand recreation philosophy and development process in recreation. 3) Understand needs of recreation individual and social perspectives. 4) Learn examination of recreation at sociological perspective and social functions of leisure time evaluation. 5) Learn and apply reasons of social recreation preference, planning and evaluating of social recreation activities

COURSE DEFINITION	Includes, examination of recreation in a context of sociology, planning, application and management of social activities and related techniques. Importance and evaluation of leisure time in sociological perspective and social function of leisure time.
