Specific Admission Requirements
Graduates of the Departments of Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Elementary Mathematics Education, Computer Education and Instuctional Design could apply the Program. Grades of the exams ALES; TOEFL or YDS; interview and graduate grades of the applicants will be evaluated according to the criteria of the institute.
Applicants of graduated from other departments will be considered according to the opinion of the department.
The criteria are as follows:
ALES Score: 55, 610 GRE, 450 GMAT
ALES Score Type: Numerical
Language Grade:
TOEFL IBT: 66
YDS: 55
E-YDS:55
YOKDIL:55
For those who do not have a language certificate: At least 55 points in Başkent University English Preparatory Department proficiency exam.
Undergraduate Graduation:
Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Elementary Mathematics Education, Computer Education and Instructional Design
Graduating from one of the undergraduate programs of Teacher Education.
The applications of candidates who graduated from other undergraduate programs will be evaluated in line with the opinion of the relevant department. scientific preparation will be applied if they are deemed appropriate.
Grade Point Average Requirement (if any):
50% of ALES score,
30% of the interview score,
20% of the diploma grade will be taken
*A candidate whose overall grade is below 65 out of 100 is considered unsuccessful.
**The GRE-GMAT equivalencies of ALES and the equivalencies of YDS, E-YDS, YÖKDİL exams with other foreign language exams will be made according to the decisions of YÖK, ÖSYM and the University Senate.
