Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature can be employed in a wide variety of sectors requiring competence in language and literary matters. After their undergraduate education students wishing to pursue an academic career can be employed as research assistants in a variety of universities as they continue their studies to obtain higher degrees. In addition, our graduates may attend a programme offered by the Faculties of Education of a variety of universities to receive a certificate for teaching Turkish Language and Literature. In this way, they become entitled to teach Turkish Language and Literature in private and public schools. They can be employed also in goverment ministries, archives, museums, libraries, and media organizations etc. |
