General Information
The Department of Speech and Language Therapy encompasses screening, assessment, intervention, follow-up, and counseling services targeting communication, language, speech, voice, and swallowing skills. Graduates of this program are awarded the professional title of speech and language therapist. Speech and language therapists contribute to preventive, regulatory, and rehabilitative processes addressing communication and swallowing disorders. Since such disorders may emerge at any stage from infancy to old age, they affect individuals across the lifespan, and speech and language therapists therefore work with people of all age groups.
The Department of Speech and Language Therapy was established in 2025. Supported by a highly qualified academic staff and state-of-the-art laboratories, the department offers a four-year, full-time undergraduate program. The program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical competencies necessary to carry out screening, diagnosis, intervention, follow-up, and counseling processes in the field of speech and language therapy.
