COURSE DEFINITION
Classification of untraditional manufacturing processes according to energy types. Principals, motives, manufacturing parameters, manufacturing and application capabilities of these processes. Ultrasonic machining, machining with jet-cutting, water jets, electrochemical machining, electrochemical grinding and honing. Chemical machining, electro-discharge machining, Electro-discharge with wire, laser cutting, machining with plasma.
