LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) At the end of the course the students are expected to be well informed about the topic of the course and will have the capacity to apply abstract legal rules to actual cases.
2) Will be able to examine provisions relating to internal arbitration under Code of Civil Prosedure No. 6100 and for foreign element-based disputes the international arbitration rules in the international arbitration law.
3) Will be able to determine the legal difference between an application to a government court and an arbitration application.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe main subjects of the course are negotiation, mediation, arbitration and other Alternative Dispute Resolution procedures. Comparative definition, components and skills within the broader taxonomy of dispute resolution will be explored in the course.
