COURSE DEFINITIONPolitical parties are indispensable elements of democratic political life. For this reason, some of the current constitutions designated the principles which political parties must conform. There are sanctions in these constitutions if parties would not conform to those prohibitions. One of these sanctions is the dissolution of political parties. If we consider the excess of the prohibition of political parties in Turkey we can understand that we need to reform the rules on prohibition and dissolution of political parties.
