At the end of this course, the students; 1) Are informed about forecasting techniques and will be equipped with the knowledge required to determine the best forecasting method suitable for a specific condition. 2) Will be able to realize the importance of short range operational decisions on the competitiveness of business enterprises. 3) Are informed about each of the short-range operational decisions and learn what kind of quantitative methods can be used to make good decisions in each decision area. 4) Develop the skills to apply quantitative decision models.
