At the end of this course, the students; 1) know the concepts about total quality management and its historical evolution. 2) have knowledge about the total quality management applications in Turkey. 3) have knowledge about the fundamental concepts of quality management. 4) can use problem solving tools and applications about quality management. 5) has the competency to use concepts about process, system, continuous improvement, problem solving, monitoring, measurement and assessment. 6) has knowledge about international quality standard systems. 7) can develop contents about financial measurements, performance measurements, internal and external audit product realization, procurement, measurement analysis assessment, monitoring evaluation. 8) gain skills about the coordination of direct and indirect processes, knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary team work, verification, validity, documentation and continuous improvement.

COURSE DEFINITION
The aim of this course is to improve the managerial skills of the attendants by teaching the basic information about quality management and encourage them for using the quality management problem solving tools by practice. Today there are common known basic quality concepts that lacks the theoretical framework to be used for solving managerial issues in daily work life. Therefore, it is needed a theory-practice integration in quality management. The main idea of this course is to encourage the attendants to develop fast, creative and practical solutions for the daily managerial issues through quality management when it is needed in case studies or training activities.
