At the end of this course, the students; 1) LO.1- Information about production processes and application areas. 2) LO.2- Comparison of production processes, their advantages and limitations. 3) LO.3- Choosing the most appropriate production process for a specific machine part at the design stage, 4) LO.4- Numerical calculations for production processes.

COURSE DEFINITION | To become familiar with different material production methods such as casting, machining, sheet metal processing, powder metallurgy, welding, metal and plastic shaping, to introduce the principles of these processes, currently used equipment and application areas, and to learn the formulas and numerical calculations used in these production processes. |
