LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will understand the responsibility and functions of a system analyst in developing an information system (IS). 2) Will learn to use Data Flow Diagram to model an IS. 3) Will learn the need for project management and to use a tool. 4) Will learn the basics of object oriented (OO) information system development and RUP (Rational Unified Process). 5) Will learn UML (Unified Modeling Language) and RUP relation. 6) Will learn how to treat the Inception Phase of RUP together with the relevant disciplines of RUP. 7) Will learn the recent trends in information systems development.
