At the end of this course, the students; 1) Know relational data mode and integrity constraints. 2) Know and apply relational algebra and structured query language (SQL). 3) Know normal forms and apply to designs. 4) Describe multidimensional and Bitmap index structures. 5) Know query evaluation and optimization principles. 6) Describe transaction management principles. 7) Object-relational, object, and multidimensional data models.
