LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Know transmission fundamentals, communication networks, protocols and the TCP/IP Suite.
2) Have knowledge of antennas and propagation, signal encoding techniques, spread spectrum, coding and error control.
3) Setup satellite communications and establish cellular wireless networks.
4) Develop applications of cordless systems and wireless local loop, mobile IP and Wireless Access Protocol.
5) Experience wireless LAN Technology and IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN standard.
6) Develop applications of bluetooth.
