LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) The students will study the ways in which art history plays an important role in museum exhibitions, installations, virtual museums, private, city and speciality museums.
2) The formation of contemporary art museums, diversity in museum architecture and contemporary museum architects will be studied, especially United States of America, Middle East and European contemporary art museums will be introduced.
3) Museum's communication with visitors, museum aesthetics ans modes of communication will be considered.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course aims to present how art museums reveal the social and cultural ideologies. The students will study the ways in which art history plays an important role in museum exhibitions, installations, virtual museums, private, city and speciality museums. The formation of contemporary art museums, diversity in museum architecture and contemporary museum architects will be studied, especially United States of America, Middle East and European contemporary art museums will be introduced. Museum's communication with visitors, museum aesthetics ans modes of communication will be considered.
