1) They can explain the theoretical knowledge in the field of psycho-oncology.
2) They can interpret the effects of cancer in terms of patients and their relatives.
3) They can compare the methods of intervening in the problems experienced by patients diagnosed with cancer.
4) They can criticize different care processes of cancer patients.
5) They may associate cancer and other related neurological and psychological disorders.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course aims to provide detailed information in the field of health psychology and psycho-oncology. Within the scope of this course, students acquire basic information about health psychology and then have information about the effects of a cancer diagnosis on patients and their relatives. At the end of the course, students get an idea about how to cope with the stress and psychological problems experienced by patients after a cancer diagnosis.
