LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will be able to become acquainted with the different states of consciousness in more detail, 2) Will be able to learn how scientific research is conducted in this area and how the different states of consciousness are measured, 3) Will be able to get an idea about the neurobiological basis of different states of consciousness, 4) Will be able to learn about the results of the recent scientific studies conducted on different types of meditation and its effects on the body and the mind. 5) Will be able to tell fallacy from scientific facts.
