At the end of this course, the students; 1) They can interpret the concept of ethics in terms of psychology. 2) They will be able to explain the ethical codes specific to the profession of psychology. 3) They may not recognize the conflict areas in ethical dilemmas. 4) They can associate ethical violations with ethical rules. 5) They can identify, criticize and share ethical violations in case examples. 6) They can perform their profession in accordance with ethical guidelines and follow their development.

COURSE DEFINITION | The definition of ethical behavior in psychology, the historical development and necessity of ethical rules, examples of ethical dilemmas, ethical rules in psychology research, ethical rules in publications, ethical rules in psychotherapy, and ethical rules in public and private sector business environments were developed for psychologists in Turkey. ethical rules will be discussed. |
