At the end of this course, the students; 1) Can conclude a research by conducting it from beginning to end. 2) Can monitor the process related to a variable by creating a measurement tool in order to make a measurement on a determined subject. 3) Can express the data obtained from a scientific research numerically by means of statistical programs. 4) Has the ability to use the library and online databases to manage his scientific research. 5) Will be able to analyze a scientific research by considering ethical rules. 6) Can express the results of his scientific research in accordance with the APA style.

COURSE DEFINITION | This course provides basic training in the gathering, description and analysis of quantitative information in the behavioral sciences. The course is designed to give emphasis primarily on hypothesis formulation, operational definition, applying this knowledge on real data and writing a research paper. Students are allowed to apply their knowledge to survey methods mainly in which they learn how to design an effective survey form to gather data. |
