At the end of this course, the students; 1) Having learned how to access national macroeconomic indicators. 2) To have learned how, by which institutions and by which methods the basic macroeconomic indicators are calculated. 3) To be able to analyze and understand the causal relationships between macroeconomic indicators with the help of basic concepts, models, theories and tools used in macroeconomics. 4) Being able to accurately evaluate the current situation of the Turkish economy by using statistical data.

COURSE DEFINITION
Basic economic concepts will be introduced, monetary and fiscal policy practices and their impacts will be outlined, macroeconomic indicators will be defined and evaluated besides foreign trade transactions and current international economic developments will be analyzed.
