At the end of this course, the students; 1) understand risk hedging in portfolio management 2) be able to analyse altervative investment startegies. 3) be able value fixed income securities and stocks. 4) be able to understand portfolio management theories and portfolio management process. 5) be able to comprehend basic investment concepts and investment decisions.

COURSE DEFINITION | The presentation of investment theory, outlining the points that should be taken into account during investment decision making, assessment of portfolio management both in theory and practice and examination of investment alternatives in Turkey is aimed in this module. Besides contribution to the interpretation of recent developments in finance and investment field and to assess financial markets and instruments from a wide point view is also targeted. |
