At the end of this course, the students; 1) Successfully plan proper treatment in manipulation implant supported prosthesis and surgical methods 2) Overcoming problems regarding implant supported prosthesis while either working with patients or dental technicians. 3) Will know indications and contrendications of implant supported restorations, and will organize a treatment plan. 4) Will understand how soft tissues are attached to implant surface and the significance of tissue type and quality in success of implants. Have a general idea about techniques and methods used when there are soft tissue deficiencies around dental implants. 5) Understand the oral biofilms associated with dental implants and their effects on dental implants health and failures. How to diagnose and manage peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis. Appreciate the importance of maintenance of dental implants and how to carry out this maintenance at home and at the dental office.
