At the end of this course, the students; 1) Identify the materials and instruments commonly used in dentistry for restorative and lab procedures. 2) The basic structures in tissues, organs and organ systems of the human body. 3) The basic pathologies that impact these structures in the human body. 4) Using appropriate terminology, describe the clinical appearance of lesions within soft tissue to include size, color, consistency, surface texture, and radiographic terms.
