COURSE DEFINITION
The aim of this course is to introduce all the production steps of a film project from the very beginning of an idea through sales and distribution from the perspective of the ?producer?.

Producer and the production team.
2nd Week
Project and development of a project through the perspective of a producer, script writing, co-operation of producer-director-script writer.
3rd Week
Preparation of the project file, Pitching
4th Week
Financial planning and budget.
5th Week
Producer in pre-production; Casting, co-operation with the art director.
6th Week
Producer in pre-production; setting the crew and hiring the technical equipments.
7th Week
Producer in pre-production; location research, correspondence, shooting permissions, copyrights.
8th Week
Production organization; production schedule and production planning charts.
9th Week
Producer in production period; set and field work.
Different film genres and different production strategies
14th Week
Film industry through the perspective of a producer; production companies, crew and equipment hiring firms, independent cinema.
