COURSE DEFINITION
The course aims to give students the knowledge about documentary and necessary qualifications in order to prepare a documentary. The course starts from the theoretical subjects such as history of documentary film, political documentaries, documentary in Turkey, main approaches to documentary, basic genres and narrative forms of documentary, and targets to achieve student?s to prepare their own documentary ideas ready to produce.
