COURSE DEFINITIONTo enrich student?s basic knowledge on editing and enhance it with various projects, the course focuses on advanced film editing design and discusses theoretically with the examples of film analysis. Students will do various practices with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut or similar programs. In accordance with the course purpose, the practical works will be done and students? short movies will be edited.

1st Week Introduction
2nd Week Introduction to video formats, techniques, file types, options of render and work area
3rd Week Applications of various montage techniques, transition between videos and synchronization
4th Week Creating titles, "Motion" window and filters
5th Week Working with sound files, rendering and exporting project
6th Week Project: starting project, background research
7th Week Project: preparing storyboard
8th Week Project: completing shoots, preparation of sound and music
9th Week Project: editing, post-production
10th Week Midterm Evaluation
11th Week Project "Opening title" starting of the project, background research
12th Week Project "Opening title" storyboard
13th Week Project "Opening title" completing shoots, preparation of sound and music
14th Week Project presentation
