At the end of this course, the students; 1) Makes the diagnosis and treatment of common pregnancy detection, pregnancy examination, puerperal infections, dysmenorrhea, vaginitis, sexually transmitted infections, postmenopausal symptoms, amenorrhea with Professional behaviors in real patients. 2) Know the rare risk, preganancy conditions and refferal criteria and direct the diagnosis in the real patient 3) Incase of frequent contraception request, the student performs intrauterine device application and taking smear during vaginal examination professionaly on the real patient 4) In the presence of rare causes such as infertility, postmenopausal bleeding, acute abdomen and bleeding in pregnancy, the student directs professionaly to perform medical interventions on the real patient

COURSE DEFINITION
This course plans to increase knowledge and skills of the student on gynecological and obstetric basic subjects, to make a diagnosis at the level of general practitioner and to have knowledge about general treatment rules.
COURSE CONTENTS
Our 6th years tudents are assigned to the general out patient clinic, discipline and services of our clinic during the 6 ?week internship at the Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic. In poliyclinics, they attend the patient examinations and Daily bedside visits in the services with the faculty members, they perform the duties assigned to them in the polyclinics and services. They join at least 10 surgeries in their services ( Gynecology and Gynecological Oncology Services). They follow up at least 5 cesarean deliveries in the maternity ward and at least 10 cesarean deliveries. They attend seminars held at certain times every day. They also have five duties in the delivery room, Emergency Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gynecology and Gynecological Oncology services.
